MASTER of Development, International Cooperation and Humanitarian Action

Welcome to the student site "Master of Development, International Cooperation and Humanitarian Action". This site is for everyone who would like to get into this program (more and more every year), but also for alumni and especially those interested in international cooperation.

The Master DICHA is linked with the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (www.u-paris1.fr). It prepares one for positions in management, administration, coordination, as well as project management, program direction of NGOs, territorial groups, international organizations, aid agencies or research. It offers post-graduate level courses on the problems of development and international cooperation. You will find more details on the objectives, courses or ways to enrole on the site of the DESS.

The students enrolled this 2004-2005 year in the Master have very diverse backgrounds. They have degrees in political science, business, anthropology, engineering, history, literature, communication... some already have several years of professional experience and have resumed studies. Several come from foreign countries (Germany, Canada, China, Egypt, the United States, Italy, Slovakia). If you would like to know more about these students, go to the heading "Who are we?"

It is this diversity in our backgrounds which is the great resources of this program. We have tried this year to get the most out of what each one of us could bring eachother by animating the life of the program with the organisation of some activities.

Almost all of us have had foreign experiences or projects before enroling in the Master. You can find a description of some of these in the section Projects and Experiences

Enjoy the website!
